Checklist of Racey Helps Medici postcards by Pk or Pkt number

Medici postcard, Pk 192, Bedtime
Story, Racey Helps.
A wicked sense of humour - note the picture of 'Grandpa' on the wall - in a pie!
Angus Clifford Racey Helps, born in Bristol in 1913, died in Barnstaple in 1971.
These are the older cards, approx 3.5" x 5.5" with numbers prefixed by
Pk or Pkt
- not the modern 6" x 4" series with P.C. numbers.
These are all the Racey Helps
Medici postcards with Pk or Pkt numbers,
I have had this confirmed by The Medici Society.
There are
89 different pictures in the Pk/Pkt Series.
'Pk' is sometimes printed 'PK' - see below.
There are other 3.5" x 5.5" Racey Helps
Medici postcards that have 'P' numbers
(not Pk or Pkt) - and also some with no numbers at all,
details near the bottom of this page.
The table below is in number order, back type is as
illustrated,
I have ignored small variations in font or placement of Pk/Pkt number.
I am sure other back types exist for various numbers - these are just the ones I
have.
The cards below are not for sale

Other known Racey Helps cards by Medici (3.5” x 5.5”)
'P' number
P271, title: ‘Great Expectations’, back type 9
(also exists with no number).
P856, title: ‘Various Small Animals Caroling’, back
type 9.
P869, title: ‘Bringing Home The Christmas’, back
type 9. P869 ‘Bringing Home The Christmas’
also exists as a Spanjersberg card overprinted on the back with a Christmas
greeting, this Dutch card is nearer to 6” x 4”.
- note the above are ‘P’ numbers – not ‘Pk’ or ‘Pkt’.
From Medici: "Ref the 3 titles [above]: The “P” ref is the Copyright Number.
This leads me to believe … that they were a special print run for 1 individual
or company. This is why we didn’t give it a selling ref code (PK or PC)".
Foreign published
P869, [Bringing Home The Christmas], Medici
details but a 'PRO CARD' printed for SPANJERSBERG (Netherlands), approx 6" x 4".
8580, Letter For Father Christmas (Brief an den Weinachtsmann), Emil Fink Verlag,
Stuttgart (Germany), approx 6" x 4".
No number
No number, title: ‘Skating
On The Fishing Pond’, back type 9. From Medici: "The official title is ‘The
Rescue’, our copyright ref K6".
No number, title: ‘Great Expectations’, back type 9
(picture as P271).
Never produced
‘The Starfish’, was incorrectly entered into Medici
ledgers as postcard Pk 359, it was never issued as a postcard but was issued as a Birthday card.
